#30DayAnimeChallenge: Day 5

Day 5: Anime you’re ashamed you enjoyed?

The anime that I am ashamed that I enjoyed is “Binan KouKou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Love! Love!“. This anime is the most ridiculous, adorable, funny, and confusing anime I have ever seen and I have seen tons of different anime series. This anime is like the male version of Sailor Moon. Instead of Luna the cat its a Kola named “Wombat”. The enemy is a set of twins called “Aki and Haru” who remind of “Hikaru and Kaoru”  from Ouran High School Host Club with their brotherly relationship.

I am ashamed that I sat and watched the whole entire series. It sometimes left me speechless but, since the characters were funny and cute I was so addicted to watching it. Hakone Yumoto is so darn adorable. It is so funny when they transform into battle lovers and they kiss the bracelet and say “Love Making transform”. I am ashamed I watched it but it was still fun to watch.

The story is about a mysterious creature landed in the hot spring while Atsushi and En were in the bath in the bath house. Wombat asked the members of the Earth Defense Club also known as the Do Nothing Club to help protect the planet form evil monsters and gave the group Love bracelets which give them love power. The Earth Defender Club members are Atsushi, En, Lo, Yumato, and Ryu which they all have powers of different elements (just like Sailor Moon) allowing them to transform into battle lovers. The battle Lovers must rescue the hearts of those who been corrupted by the evil twins Aki and Haru.

I found the first series of this hilarious as it just hit the right notes for a parody. Season 2 on the other hand I dropped early on because it just kind of fell flat.

I agree the season was hilarious. I can’t believe thier was a season 2 for it. I think after the frist season I have to give it a pass, no way I can’t watch another season.
